Rhondda Swimming Club is pleased to announce that it has received a £2110 grant from The Pen y Cymoedd Community Fund.
The Fund has been established by energy company Vattenfall for the benefit of the communities hosting the wind farm in or across the upper reaches of the Neath, Afan, Rhondda or Cynon Valleys.
With an annual budget of £1.8 million each year from 2017 until at least 2036, the Fund offers an unprecedented opportunity for local people to invest in themselves and their ideas to improve the economic, social, cultural and environmental life of their communities – now, and in the long-term.
It’s no ordinary Fund. Over several years through local conversations, residents and communities themselves have defined the priorities they want the funding to support.
Rhondda Swimming Club would like thank The Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund CIC
